VOLUNTEER FAQ
Before you apply
Before you apply A few of the questions we hear most often from people considering joining the work.
Do I need prior nonprofit experience to volunteer?
Not at all. We onboard new volunteers each cycle and pair newcomers with experienced field leads. Reliability and warmth matter far more than résumé.
How much time does volunteering require?
It depends on the role. A single distribution day might take 6–8 hours; an ambassador role typically asks for 2–4 hours per month. We’ll match you to what fits the season you’re in.
Can I volunteer from the United States ?
We provide practical support to vulnerable children, widows, families, and underserved communities through food relief, clean water projects, educational support, and community outreach.
Can I volunteer or partner with the foundation?
A coordinator reviews each application personally and replies within 5–7 business days with next steps and a short intro call.
Are there opportunities for student groups or corporate teams?
Absolutely. We host team volunteer days for schools, churches and companies — including remote skills-based projects (design, web, data) and in-person packing events.
What happens after I submit the application?
We work through trusted local relationships, community referrals, and direct assessments so assistance reaches people facing genuine and urgent need.
